Civic Boost

On Thursday, May 2, 2019, Facebook's Civic Boost tour will launch in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with tour stops across the country to help encourage civic engagement and teach small business owners how to optimize their presence on Facebook and Instagram. The tour will also make stops in Ottawa, ON; Montreal, QC; Oshawa, ON; Vancouver, BC; and Calgary, AB.

As part of Facebook's Canadian Election Integrity Initiative, Civic Boost events will encourage civic engagement and outline efforts underway to protect the 2019 federal election. Each event includes training sessions for small businesses, political candidates and media publishers led by Facebook experts on the latest best practices and strategies for success. Attendees will learn how to use Facebook and Instagram to grow their audience and connect with their community.
